- 1 1/2 oz. silver tequila
- 1 oz. Cointreau
- 1 oz. lime juice
- 1 tsp. agave nectar
- 4 blackberries
Pour out some kosher salt on a plate. Use a slice of lime to moisten the rim of a margarita glass. Next, hold the margarita glass at an angle in the salt and rotate the glass to coat the rim. Set it aside. If you like your margarita on the rocks, add ice to the glass.
Muddle 3 blackberries in the bottom of a cocktail shacker. Fill the shaker half way with ice and add the tequila, Cointreau, fresh squeezed lime juice and agave nectar. Shake until the outside is frosty. Strain contents into the prepared margarita glass, float one blackberry in the drink and garnish with the lime wedge.
100% agave tequila recommended.
