Forbidden Sour
- 1 oz. bourbon whiskey
- 1 oz. pomegranate liqueur
- 1 oz. lemon juice
- 1/2 oz. simple syrup

Instructions
Add all the liquid ingredients to a cocktail shaker, fill with enough ice to match the liquid, and shake vigorously until the shaker is frosty. Strain into your favorite glass over a block of ice and enjoy.
Variations
Garnish with an orange wheel and/or cherry for added flare if you wish, although personally I don't think the juice is worth the squeeze for this particular beverage.
Additional Notes
I recommend Pama pomegranate liqueur. Others are probably sufficient, but Pama is the best one I've tried thus far.
