- 2 oz. sweet vermouth
- 1 1/2 oz. bourbon whiskey
- 3/4 oz. apricot liqueur
- 3 dashes Angostura bitters
- orange peel
Add the liquid ingredients to a mixing glass. Fill half way with ice, then stir for 30-45 seconds. Strain into a coupe or Nick & Nora glass. Twist an orange peel over the glass to express the oils, then drop it in to garnish.
- Swap the whiskey and vermouth measurements for a more spirit-forward version.
- Substituting a lemon peel for the orange peel can counter-balance some of the sweetness.
