- 2 oz. bourbon whiskey
- 1/2 oz. coffee liqueur
- 2 dashes orange bitters
- orange peel
Combine all the liquid ingredients in a mixing glass, add ice, and stir for 45 seconds or so before straining into a cocktail glass. Express the juices from a slice of orange peel over an open flame and into the glass. Affix the orange peel for garnish and enjoy.
Collective wisdom would generally suggest a high-rye bourbon like Bulleit or Old Grand-Dad Bonded is best for this particular beverage.
