- 1 oz. sweet vermouth
- 1 oz. Campari
- orange peel
245 cal
Instructions
Add the liquid ingredients to a bar glass, followed by some ice. Stir for 30-45 seconds, then strain into a coupe glass. Garnish with an orange peel and enjoy.
Variations
- You can use rye instead of bourbon, although I tend to prefer the sweetness of a bourbon to further offset the bitterness of the Campari (that stuff is not messing around).
- The amount of whiskey can vary - if you prefer a more spirit-forward drink, 2 oz. is probably about right. For a version closer to the inspirational Negroni, drop it down to 1 oz. whiskey.
- Rosso works well for the vermouth component, but I suspect most options in the sweet/red vermouth category would suffice.
